FibuLock® PRO Fibular Nail

Backed by years of literature, fibular nailing is an established option for treating ankle fractures.1 The FibuLock nail is a load-sharing device that is inserted through a small incision to stabilize the fracture during healing. This minimally invasive technique reduces wound complications, preserves soft tissue, and is indicative of lower overall complication rates.2 The FibuLock PRO fibular nail is an improved solution that provides surgeons with more options for treating ankle fractures. Features include longer nails, headless cortical screws, expanded fixation options, and modular instrumentation. Additionally, the new nail offers a way to obtain and maintain length intraoperatively. Lastly, the FibuLock PRO Nail features novel proximal talons that open 12% wider than the first-generation FibuLock nail, providing stronger fixation and enhanced rotational control.
