The Arthrex trochanteric nail is a next-generation hip nail that addresses the remaining shortcomings of current systems and consists of three nail types—short nail, long nail, and the innovative ES nail.
The Ankle Fracture Management System was developed to be the most comprehensive set available for the treatment of ankle fractures. All fibula plates are engineered to work seamlessly with our proven Syndesmosis TightRope® implants.
The distal tibia plates are made of stainless steel and are an extension of the ankle fracture management system. Plates have been designed with concern for the thin soft tissues on the tibia and are low profile with 2.7 mm locking or non-locking screws in the distal portion of each plate. Medial, anterolateral, anterior, posterior and small rim plates complete the plating offering for the tibia. In addition, posterolateral plating has also been designed to be low profile with a 2.7 mm locking screw to minimize peroneal tendon irritation.
Flexible fixation devices like the Knotless Mini TightRope implant afford surgeons an alternative to traditional rigid screw or screw-and-plate fixation for common foot and ankle pathologies, including hallux valgus, Lisfranc injuries, and hallux varus. The Mini TightRope system provides a strong and reproducible construct that stabilizes bones without overconstraining the joint,1-3 which can lead to early hardware failure and the need for a second hardware removal surgery.
