Anterior Instability: Options Short of Bone Block Procedure

Joshua S. Dines, MD, (Uniondale, NY) presents the background and clinical evidence of reducing acute Hill-Sachs lesions and converting an off-track lesion to an on-track lesion. The implications of addressing this pathology are discussed, noting that recurrent dislocations can be reduced by decompressing the acute Hill-Sachs lesion and delivering a hardening bone cement, such as Arthrex® Quickset™* bone void filler, under the defect.
