The Arthrex Clinical Advisory team is a division of the Department of Medical Affairs. Mr. Bradshaw is originally from Lakeland, Florida. He spent much of his career serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Bradshaw was selected for physician assistant training leading to his commissioning as an officer in the Navy Medical Service Corps. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in physician assistant studies from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and went on to earn a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska. He attended the Navy Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship program for PAs. In 2008, Mr. Bradshaw retired from the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander with 22 years of service. He moved to Naples in 2010 to join the Arthrex Medical Education team, focusing on distal extremity surgery and orthobiologics. He later managed Representative and Online Education. In 2021, Mr. Bradshaw assumed additional duties as Director of the Clinical Advisory Division in the Department of Medical Affairs.
Bethlyn Katz, PA-C
Principal Clinical Advisory Specialist, Clinical Advisory Division
Mrs. Katz is originally from Long Island, New York. Her passion for sports medicine began while earning her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training. After working as a certified athletic trainer for two years with an NCAA Division I Sports Program on Long Island, she pursued a degree in physician assistant studies from Hofstra University. As a board-certified physician assistant, Mrs. Katz practiced orthopedic surgery for seven years under a sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, specializing in shoulder, knee, and hip arthroscopy, as well as musculoskeletal ultrasound. She joined the Medical Education Sports and Arthroplasty team in 2017. She soon moved to take a leading role in providing education for the Orthobiologics product line. In 2022, Mrs. Katz transitioned over to the Clinical Advisory Division as a Principal Clinical Advisory Specialist.
Karen Stephens is originally from Redding, Connecticut. After tearing her ACL in high school and spending several months in physical therapy for rehabilitation, Karen soon discovered her desire to be a physical therapist. Karen completed her bachelor's in nursing at the University of Delaware in 1998 and her master's in physical therapy science in 2002. Karen worked as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist for 20 years in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Florida before leaving patient care to join Arthrex's Medical Affairs Department as a Clinical Advisory Specialist.
