SutureTak® Thumb Collateral Ligament Repair

Utilizing a drill or punch, a bone socket is created for the anchor. The drill or punch is removed and the implant is inserted through into the bone socket. The anchor is gently impacted until it is fully seated. The anchor handle is removed exposing the 2 FiberWire sutures and tapered needles. The needles are advanced through the soft tissue to accomplish the desired stitch. Once the sutures are passed, the needles are removed and the sutures are tied using the surgeon's preferred sliding or static knot.
