Die BioACL-Technik macht sich die Leistungsfähigkeit von Biologika der nächsten Generation zunutze, um den ultimativen anatomischen, minimal-invasiven und reproduzierbaren Ansatz zu bieten, der die Ergebnisse für die Patienten auf ein neues Niveau hebt.
Durch die Vorfüllung von ACL-Knochenkanälen mit einem leistungsstarken Gemisch aus konzentriertem plättchenreichem Plasma (cPRP) aus Knochenmarkaspirat (BMA) oder Vollblut, das mit dem Angel-System aufbereitet wurde, dem mit dem GraftNet-Produkt entnommenen patienteneigenen Knochen und AlloSync Pure demineralisierter Knochenmatrix (DBM) bietet die BioACL-Technik alle notwendigen Heilungskomponenten für eine ACL-Rekonstruktion.
In Verbindung mit der QuadLink- mit der InternalBrace-Technik hat sich gezeigt, dass die BioACL-Technik im Vergleich zu nicht augmentierten ACL-Eingriffen zu einer früheren gesamten Bewegungsspanne, einer verbesserten Symmetrie der Gliedmaßen, einer geringeren Verbreiterung des Knochenkanals und verbesserten Ergebnissen nach Angaben der Patienten führt.1

Die InternalBrace-Operationstechnik ist ausschließlich zur Augmentation einer primären Reparatur&nbsp;/&nbsp;Rekonstruktion vorgesehen, bei der die Kontaktfläche des Weichteilgewebes während der Heilungsperiode vergrößert wird. Sie ist nicht als Ersatz für das native Band gedacht. Die InternalBrace-Technik ist für Eingriffe zur Fixierung von Weichteilgewebe am Knochen vorgesehen. Sie ist nicht für die Knochen-zu-Knochen-Fixierung zugelassen.

Das FiberTag-TightRope-Implantat erleichtert die Fixierung von Transplantaten mit nur einem Ende, z. B. Quadrizepssehnentransplantate, an den ACL TightRope-RT- und ABS-Implantaten. Der FiberTag-Faden ist in das TightRope-Implantat integriert und sorgt für eine feste1, gleichmäßige Verbindung zwischen dem Faden und der TightRope-Schlaufe. Bei dem neuen innovativen FlipCutter III-Bohrer handelt es sich um ein verstellbares Instrument in verschiedenen Größen, das die Funktion eines Führungsdrahtes und einer Fräse kombiniert und damit das minimal-invasive Anlegen eines Bohrlochs von innen nach außen ermöglicht. Dank der proprietären Technologie bietet die FlipCutter-Technologie eine uneingeschränkte Freiheit bei der Positionierung des Bohrlochs und ist ideal für schwer zu erreichende Anwendungen wie zum Beispiel das Anlegen eines tibialen Bohrlochs bei der PCL-Rekonstruktion, das Anlegen eines anatomischen femoralen Sacklochs bei der ACL-Rekonstruktion sowie das Anlegen eines Bohrlochs bei der Meniskus-Allograft-Transplantation bzw. der Rekonstruktion der Meniskusbasis.
