FiberStick suture is #2 FiberWire suture&nbsp;with the first 12 inches stiffened to allow convenient and easy advancement through most cannulated instruments, eliminating the need for a monofilament suture or wire suture shuttle. FiberStick sutures come with a thin plastic tube that protects the stiffened suture until use. TigerStick sutures are similar to FiberStick sutures, but they are white with a black stripe to make suture identification easier.

FiberStick™ is blue FiberWire with the first 12 inches stiffened to allow convenient and easy advancement through most cannulated instruments, alleviating the need for a monofilament suture or wire suture shuttle. FiberSticks come with a thin plastic tube which protects the stiffened suture until use. TigerStick® is similar to FiberStick but white with a black stripe in the suture, making suture identification easier.

Once the minimally invasive or open incision is made and proper soft-tissue windows are established, use the fibular, tibial, and/or femoral collateral marking hooks for anatomic precision and osseous measurements when drilling the appropriate reconstruction tunnels. Using the femoral collateral marking hook with the parallel drill guide will increase anatomic femoral drilling efficiency by significantly reducing convergent tunnels and allowing for accurate guide pin placement at multiple incremental distances. During tunnel creation, use the spooned ends of the collateral ligament retractor to retract the neurovascular structures and the collateral ligament rasp to chamfer the aperture of the completed reconstruction tunnels. Then use FiberWire® or FiberStick™ suture to pass the prepared grafts and tension to the desired position prior to graft fixation.

Anatomic Collateral Ligament Reconstruction

For meniscal allograft transplant, the double bone plug technique involves medially implanting the meniscal allograft with rigid fixation at both horn attachments. The technique can also correct meniscal deficiency using bone plugs and minimally invasive suspensory fixation and allows the meniscal allograft to maintain functional hoop stress.

The Double Bone Plug technique for meniscal tear/deficiency utilizes bone plugs that can either be prepared freehand or by using a coring reamer. The freehand technique is performed using rongeurs and a high speed burr. The double bone plug technique for meniscal allograft reconstruction provides a method for implanting the meniscal allograft medially with rigid fixation at both horn attachments. It has been demonstrated that bony fixation and bony healing at the attachment site allows for the maintenance of functional hoop stress by the meniscal allograft.

The screw-in, knotless Labral SwiveLock anchor is specially designed for treating shoulder instability and is used similar to a Labral PushLock® anchor. Offering the same knotless advantages as the Labral PushLock anchor (eg, low profile, quick, suture-first technique with multiple stitch configuration options), this anchor provides the added benefits of higher pullout strength and vents that may allow bony ingrowth. The anchor is available in biocomposite or PEEK material.

Labral SwiveLock® Anchor

The Micro SutureLasso™&nbsp;replaces 18-gauge needles for arthroscopic suture passing. Sterile, disposable, stainless steel needles are 20-gauge at the tip and taper to 16-gauge at the handle to provide the added stiffness needed for percutaneous placement for arthroscopic suture passing in upper and lower extremities. The ergonomic plastic handle facilitates accurate placement and control. Advancement of a pre-loaded fine nitinol wire loop shuttles any suture through tissue. A selection of straight and curved shafts provides accessibility to dif­ficult to reach structures. &nbsp;

The streamlined PCL ToolBox contains all the necessary instruments for performing a variety of modern PCL reconstruction techniques. The set includes the RetroConstruction™ Drill Guide System with drill sleeves for use with the FlipCutter® reamer, RetroDrill® reamer, and standard 2.4 mm guide pins.
 
 
Femoral and tibial RetroConstruction marking hooks allow safe, reproducible placement of pins and drills into the anatomic footprints. Also included in the set are double-bundle femoral drill guides, curved instruments for tibial preparation, a knee obturator for safe and easy posterior portal placement, tunnel plugs, drills, screwdrivers, notchers, and other accessories. This toolbox facilitates standard transtibial PCL reconstruction as well as modern techniques such as the arthroscopic inlay and GraftLink® all-inside PCL technique.

PCL ToolBox

Designed for arthroscopic instability or rotator cuff repair, the knotless PushLock suture anchor uniquely allows surgeons to adjust tension on the tissue intraoperatively, ensuring precise tissue reduction and fixation.
PushLock anchors are available in 2.4 mm, 2.9 mm, 3.5 mm, and 4.5 mm sizes. The 2.4 mm and 2.9 mm PushLock anchors are optimized for labral repair. Use the 4.5 mm PushLock anchor for rotator cuff repair using the SutureBridge™ technique and the 3.5 mm PushLock anchor during rotator cuff or instability procedures.
The anchor bodies – available in bioabsorbable biocomposite or PLLA and nonabsorbable PEEK materials – are strong, revisable, and radioluscent implants with no MRI artifact. Each anchor has a PEEK eyelet for superior strength during insertion to allow firm tissue tensioning and shifting.1

PushLock® Anchor

Suture passing is made easy with the wide variety of instruments from Arthrex, including SwiftStitch™, SutureLasso™, BirdBeak®, Penetrator™, Hip Labral Scorpion™ and CapsuleClose Scorpion™ suture passers.

Suture Passing

The SwiveLock anchor is designed for knotless, arthroscopic glenohumeral joint instability repair. It is sized and used similarly to the 2.9 mm&nbsp;PushLock® anchor, with the key difference being its&nbsp;threaded and vented anchor body, which&nbsp;"twists in"&nbsp;rather than&nbsp;"taps in.” The SwiveLock anchor provides the ability to independently pass the suture through a desired amount of tissue prior to anchor implantation. This feature allows the surgeon to properly capture the amount of capsule or labrum required for the pathology being treated. The surgeon can visualize and adjust tissue tension prior to final implant installation. The anchor is twisted into its final position and the sutures are cut flush.
The body of the anchor is available in a biocomposite material that combines PLLA with ß-TCP, or a nonabsorbable thermoplastic material, polyetheretherketone (PEEK). Both are strong, revisable, and radiolucent implants. Both versions use a PEEK eyelet for superior strength during insertion, allowing for firm tissue tensioning and shifting.

SwiveLock® Instability Technique - Anterior

The SwiveLock®&nbsp;anchor is a knotless suture anchor designed for arthroscopic glenohumeral joint instability repair. It is sized and used similarly to the 2.9 mm PushLock® anchor, but features a threaded and vented anchor body "twists-in" rather than "taps-in". The anchor allows the suture to be passed through the desired amount of tissue independently, before the anchor is implanted. This feature allows the surgeon to properly capture the amount of capsule or labrum required for the pathology being treated. The surgeon can visualize and adjust tissue tension prior to final implant installation. The anchor is twisted into its final position and the sutures are cut flush.
