The Knotless SutureTak anchor simplifies arthroscopic glenohumeral joint instability repair by combining a proven1&nbsp;and reproducible suture anchor design and insertion procedure with knotless soft-tissue fixation. The guide and drill are used to create a pilot hole precisely on the glenoid rim and the suture anchor is inserted through the guide, maintaining the same portal and drill trajectory. The suture is passed and then shuttled into the locking mechanism, allowing the user to control the tension of the suture repair for knotless fixation of the soft tissue under direct visualization.

Knotless SutureTak® Anchor Technique - Posterior

The Knotless SutureTak anchor simplifies arthroscopic glenohumeral joint instability repair by combining a proven1 and reproducible suture anchor design and insertion procedure with knotless soft tissue fixation. Use the guide and drill to create a pilot hole precisely on the glenoid rim and insert the suture anchor through the guide maintaining the same portal and drill trajectory. Pass the suture and shuttle it into the locking mechanism, allowing controlled tension of the suture repair for knotless soft-tissue fixation under direct visualization. This anchor may also be used in an interconnecting fashion to create bridging constructs for PASTA and remplissage repairs.

Knotless SutureTak® Anchor

Achieve labral fixation by placing sutures through the labrum in simple or labral base stitch configurations using any Arthrex suture passer. Standard and Knotless SutureTak® and FiberTak® anchors should be placed prior to passing the repair suture, while PushLock® anchors should be placed after passing the repair suture.

Labral Fixation

SutureTak push-in labral anchors are available in biocomposite, PEEK, and PLDLA materials. The bio and biocomposite anchors contain a molded-in suture to reinforce the strength of the anchor and suture eyelet. The PEEK anchor is nonabsorbable with a material eyelet.
These anchors are available in 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm 3.0 mm, and 3.7 mm diameters. A 2.0 mm Mini Hip SutureTak anchor, available in PEEK with a preloaded #1 FiberWire® suture, is compatible with XL drill guides to accommodate hip-specific anatomy.

SutureTak® Suture Anchor

SutureTak anchors are available in a variety of sizes, materials, and suture options. Biocomposite anchor options contain a molded-in suture to reinforce the strength of the anchor and suture eyelet. The nonabsorbable PEEK SutureTak anchor has a material eyelet that provides superior abrasion resistance due to PEEK’s low coefficient of friction. Anchor insertion and delivery are made simple by drilling through a spear and inserting the anchor through the same spear into the drilled hole.
