FiberStitch™ 1.5 Implant

The FiberStitch™ implant is an innovative all-inside meniscal repair system that replaces hard PEEK implants with soft suture sheaths. 2-0 FiberWire® suture provides secure arthroscopic all-suture meniscus repair. The ergonomic handle is designed for single-handed implant delivery and active implant deployment technology minimizes needle exposure beyond the meniscus, eliminating the need to past-point the needle.

FiberStitch™ Implant

The ZoneNavigator System revolutionizes inside-out meniscal repair with single-handed control of needle placement. 2-0 SutureTape with meniscal repair needles are advanced and retracted in 1 cm increments using the ergonomic handle. Cannulas attach to the handle to efficiently target specific zones of the meniscus.
Use the needle catcher to guide needles away from neurovascular structures. The concave, curved retractor efficiently retracts tissue and directs the needles for easy retrieval.

ZoneNavigator™ System

Pass 0 and 2-0 FiberWire® sutures in tight recesses of the knee with the Knee Scorpion suture passer and retriever. With the lowest profile jaw available (3.2 mm), this one-handed, ergonomically designed suture passer eliminates extra steps for suture shuttling and retrieval with reliable FastPass technology. Pass and capture suture in one simple pass and apply multiple suture configurations with the Knee Scorpion suture passer.

Knee Scorpion™ Suture Passer

The Meniscal Cinch II implant offers a linear deployment mechanism to provide ergonomic handling and simplicity. The low-profile cannula allows flexibility in tight locations in the knee and the crimped cannula supports active implant deployment. The 1 mm × 5 mm PEEK implants are secured by 2-0 coreless FiberWire® suture with a pre-tied, modified Weston sliding knot that tensions easily and facilitates secure, low-profile vertical or horizontal suture repairs.

Meniscal Cinch™ II Implant

The Meniscus Repair and Resection Instrument Set contains Arthrex’s most popular instruments to address various meniscus procedures including meniscal root repair, all-suture meniscus repair, or meniscus contouring. For protection, the instruments are held securely within the slotted silicone pads. A removable shelf uncovers an open area for placement of additional instrumentation.

Meniscal Repair and Resection Instrument Set

Ramp lesions, which are commonly associated with ACL injuries and are often misdiagnosed,1 disrupt the meniscotibial ligament and the posteromedial meniscus in the meniscocapsular zone. Disruption of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus could lead to excessive forces within the knee joint and surrounding structures.
The QuickPass™ SutureLasso™ suture passer is preloaded with a #2-0 FiberStick™ suture and is available with a left or right 25° curve and 1.5 mm tip.

Meniscus Ramp Lesion

A knotless all-suture anchor, the SutureLoc implant is specifically designed for joint-line fixation of the meniscal root. This revolutionary anchor eliminates the need for a posterior medial portal, which is commonly used in direct tibial fixation techniques, making the repair more reproducible. The 2.4 mm cannulated drill pin leaves more bone intact while delivering the SutureLasso™ wire directly to the footprint of the meniscal root. Once the anchor has been passed, the 2 repair sutures can be passed through the tissue in a variety of stitch patterns. The knotless implant is retensionable, allowing surgeons to dial in their repair.

SutureLoc™ Implant

Meniscal Fixation

Meniscal tears are one of the most common injuries treated by orthopedic surgeons. The meniscus plays an important role in knee stability and the distribution of forces within the knee joint and therefore should be repaired whenever possible. Due to its poor blood supply and challenging tear patterns, repairing a torn meniscus can present quite a challenge. Arthrex provides a multitude of options—including all-inside, outside-in, and inside-out repair—to surgeons treating the various types of meniscal tears.

Secondary (C)

For meniscal allograft transplant, the double bone plug technique involves medially implanting the meniscal allograft with rigid fixation at both horn attachments. The technique can also correct meniscal deficiency using bone plugs and minimally invasive suspensory fixation and allows the meniscal allograft to maintain functional hoop stress.

The technique used with the Dovetail Meniscal Transplant Set creates a trapezoidal bone block allograft for a bone-to-bone interlock, requiring no additional bone graft fixation. The soft tissue/meniscus portion of the graft still needs to be sutured/fixed. The instrumentation easily and consistently prepares the patient's recipient trough and the trapezoidal shape of the allograft's bone block.

Meniscal Transplant Systems

Meniscal transplant systems are designed for meniscal allograft implantation with rigid fixation at the horn attachments. Specifically, the Dovetail Meniscal Allograft Set fashions a trapezoidal meniscal allograft, which is more easily reproducible, for a bone-to-bone interlock with a patient’s similarly shaped tibial trough. Generally used for lateral meniscus transplants, the dovetail meniscus allograft can also be used for medial meniscus transplants.
