Die plantare Lapidus-Platte dient der Fixierung bei der Lapidusarthrodese. Die Platte wird von plantar auf das 1.&nbsp;Tarsometatarsalgelenk (TMT)-Gelenk gesetzt und mit 2 winkelstabilen 3.5&nbsp;mm Schrauben an den distalen und proximalen Enden fixiert. Auf diese Weise wird eine optimale Festigkeit des Konstrukts erzielt. Die vorgeformten Platten für links und rechts ermöglichen eine sichere plantare Fixierung und schonen die Sehne des M. tibialis anterior. Die plantare Lapidus-Platte ermöglicht eine Kompression über den gesamten Arthrodesebereich dank einer massiven 4&nbsp;mm Kompressionsschraube durch die Platte hindurch. Durch die plantare Ausrichtung wird während der frühen Belastung eine Lücke in der Arthrodese vermieden.1
