SwiveLock® Tenodesis

The SwiveLock® Tenodesis implants are designed for all-arthroscopic proximal biceps tenodesis to save steps and minimize the length of the procedure. The implants feature a PEEK forked tip that is used to steer the biceps tendon to the bottom of the bone socket without the need to externalize or whipstitch the tendon. Strong fixation is obtained by simply advancing the preloaded SwiveLock Tenodesis Screw. For surgeons who prefer a traditional whipstitching approach, the BioComposite™ SwiveLock Tenodesis Screws are also available with a PEEK closed eyelet.

The Birmingham Biceps™ technique for subpectoral tenodesis was designed to minimize the potential for postoperative humeral fractures by placing a small 5.5 mm PEEK SwiveLock Tenodesis implant near the top of the pectoralis at a newly defined anatomical landmark, the Pallium Pectoralis. The implant system includes everything required for the procedure, making it convenient for the surgeon and their staff.
