ACL Preservation Using the ACL Repair TightRope® Implant and FiberRing™ Sutures Summary

Aravind Athiviraham, MD (Chicago, IL), demonstrates an ACL preservation technique using the ACL Repair TightRope® implant, FiberRing™ sutures, and FiberTape® suture for the InternalBrace™ technique. In this video, Dr. Athiviraham demonstrates how longer FiberRing sutures of 45 mm or 55 mm can be used for alternative suturing techniques when multiple passes in the torn ligament are preferred.

The InternalBrace surgical technique is intended only to augment the primary repair/reconstruction by expanding the area of tissue approximation during the healing period and is not intended as a replacement for the native ligament. The InternalBrace technique is for use during soft tissue-to-bone fixation procedures and is not cleared for bone-to-bone fixation.
