Procedure

O reparo do ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA) envolve o religamento de um LCA separado da parede femoral por avulsão. Um reparo de LCA aumentado pode também incluir o uso de tecidos de autoenxerto ou aloenxerto. Esse procedimento é realizado por meio da artroscopia e envolve a sutura do LCA restante e sua ancoração ao footprint femoral existente do LCA. Ele também pode incluir a criação de túneis no fêmur e na tíbia, permitindo a passagem do material de enxerto para reconstruir o LCA. Uma abordagem inovadora para a preservação do LCA, o implante TightRope permite tensionamento e retensionamento preciso e incremental do reparo. Além disso, a nova sutura FiberRing permite uma passagem de sutura e carregamento do implante simplificados e reprodutíveis. A análise cuidadosa dos dados históricos revelou que certos subgrupos de ruptura do LCA, especialmente rupturas proximais com boa qualidade do tecido, têm resultados clínicos positivos com o reparo primário do LCA.1
