Procedure

As lesões do LCP ocorrem durante atividades relacionadas a esportes ou acidentes traumáticos em alta velocidade. As indicações para tratamento operatório de rompimentos do LCP incluem lesões agudas, pacientes jovens ativos e rompimentos isolados de grau 3 ou lesões combinadas, como uma lesão de grau 2 com instabilidade do canto póstero-lateral. 

A Arthrex possui diversas técnicas para lesões isoladas do LCP, incluindo reconstrução com inserção de LCP, reconstrução do LCP com feixe duplo e o procedimento RetroConstruction™ transtibial do LCP—que pode ser combinado com a reconstrução multiligamentar ou do canto póstero-lateral (CPL).
