ApolloRF® H50 Probe

ApolloRF probes use controlled, plasma-based bipolar radiofrequency technology designed to ablate tissue rapidly. Multiple probe configurations are available for use in a variety of procedures.

ApolloRF® Probes

The newest addition to the ApolloRF product line is the i90 probe, featuring enhanced ablation and optimized aspiration. With a unique torpedo-shaped tip and edge control, this probe allows for easy access and maneuverability.

A capsulotomy is typically made through the iliofemoral ligament once the anterolateral and midanterior portals are established, allowing better access to the hip joint. This is performed with a retractable cannulated knife and/or CapsuleCut™ disposable blade, shavers, and radiofrequency devices.

To resect the trochanteric bursa, introduce the arthroscope deep to the IT band and make a small window. Most of the pathology lies just posterior to the greater trochanter. A diamond shape is often made to release the IT band to treat external snapping hip syndrome.

IT Band Release

The SynergyRF console can be integrated with the Synergy imaging system (heads-up display) or it can be operated as a stand-alone unit. Features include:

• User-friendly interface screen
• Multiple activation controls using the console, hand switch, or footswitch
• Adjustable ablation and coagulation settings
