The Centerline™ System raises the bar for endoscopic soft tissue procedures by increasing safety, visualization, ergonomics and reducing the possibility of mechanical failures.

The Centerline system raises the bar for endoscopic carpal tunnel procedures by increasing safety, visualization, and ergonomics and by reducing the possibility of mechanical failures. Clinical data1,2 supports an earlier return to normal activities of up to 50% over open procedures for carpal tunnel release. Benefits:

Centerline™ Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release System

The surgeon introduces the device into the carpal tunnel through a single limited incision in the wrist flexor crease. Viewing the deep side of the transverse carpal ligament (flexor retinaculum) under direct visualization at the tip of the instrument, the surgeon elevates the blade to cut the ligament as the instrument is withdrawn. 

 
The Centerline technique incorporates improved safety features compared to other ECTR devices that have been used for over 20 years and eliminates rotational movements while offering superior visualization. The thumb trigger pull is synergistic, increasing steadiness and facilitating control. The Centerline endoscopic carpal tunnel release system attaches to a standard video camera and light source.

Centerline™ Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release Technique

With the help of our design surgeons Ned Amendola, MD, and Phinit Phisitkul, MD, Arthrex® has developed a comprehensive, completely disposable system for endoscopic gastrocnemius recession. This minimally invasive technique allows surgeons to improve patients’ dorsiflexion with minimal morbidity or risk of wound complications.
The EndoBlade™ System is a dual portal technique that is compatible with all 4 mm arthroscopes. Highlights of the all-in-one EndoBlade System include ergonomic single-use blades, a transparent slotted cannula with optimized length and diameter to allow for visual feedback and a unique Plane Finder to avoid sural nerve damage.

Arthrex® has developed a comprehensive, completely disposable system for endoscopic plantar fascia release. This minimally invasive technique allows surgeons to safely and effectively release the plantar fascia from the calcaneus in one simple, controlled cut under direct endoscopic visualization.
The EndoBlade™ system is a dual portal technique that is compatible with all 4 mm arthroscopes. Highlights of the all-in-one EndoBlade System include ergonomic single-use blades, a transparent slotted cannula which allows for real-time visual feedback of the soft tissue environment and a Plane Finder that acts as both an obturator and switching stick to make initial cannula insertion a cinch.
