The CrabClaw uses an opening jaw design to simplify arthroscopic knot tying and suture management. The jaw can be opened to grasp the suture strand anywhere along its length, avoiding the time consuming task and “fiddle factor” associated with threading suture onto conventional knot pushers. The opening jaw is particularly useful when checking suture strands for tangles and for quickly changing the suture posts when tying arthroscopic knots. It is also possible to pre-tie multiple half-hitch knots and advance each one down the cannula quickly and efficiently, securing an arthroscopic knot.

The Single-Hole Knot Pusher provides a simple method to advance sliding knots and half-hitches. This closed end knot pusher has a modified handle that provides an ergonomic feel. The distal tip has also been modified for easier advancement of slipknots and half-hitches.
The 6th finger was designed to tie the surgeon's knots and allows the surgeon to apply and maintain tension to the first throw while advancing subsequent throws. &nbsp;
The CrabClaw incorporates an opening jaw to allow intraarticular capture of suture.
