CrabClaw

The CrabClaw uses an opening jaw design to simplifyarthroscopic knot tying and suture management. The jaw can be opened to graspthe suture strand anywhere along its length, avoiding the time consuming taskand “fiddle factor” associated with threading suture onto conventional knotpushers. The opening jaw is particularly useful when checking suture strandsfor tangles and for quickly changing the suture posts when tying arthroscopicknots. It is also possible to pre-tie multiple half-hitch knots and advanceeach one down the cannula quickly and efficiently, securing an arthroscopicknot.
