Jose Martinez’s Pacific Vacation

After every five years with Arthrex, employees are gifted an extra week of PTO and a company-funded Trip of a Lifetime to thank them for their work. Thanks to this benefit, Cycle Counter Jose Martinez was able to fulfill a childhood dream this year. He shared about his trip:

“First, I would like to thank Arthrex for the Trip of a Lifetime program. With this great benefit, my girlfriend and I were able to visit Southern California and Oahu, Hawaii, two places I've dreamed of visiting since I was a kid.

During the trip, we saw and did many different things, ate many different types of food and also got amazing photos of the incredible views! We had tons of activities packed into the trip to make the most of it.

My girlfriend and I were able to knock four things off our traveling bucket list. We saw the famous Hollywood sign, which was even bigger than I imagined. We spent almost an entire day at the Santa Monica Pier and beach. We took a two-hour ATV tour at Kualoa Ranch, which was the film site of many movies, including Jurassic Park. (As soon as we decided we were headed to Hawaii, I knew we had to make this one of the stops!) We also were able to squeeze in some time to see a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game at the Staples Center in downtown LA.

I am beyond grateful and humbled by this opportunity and look forward to many more great years and memories as part of the Arthrex team.”
