Description:

Goode Surgical., the Las Vegas agency for Arthrex medical products, is in search of a Lab Services Specialist in Las Vegas, Nevada. This unique opportunity embraces a variety of roles in support of a thriving orthopedic surgical skills training facility geared specifically toward Orthopedic Surgeons and related Health Care Practitioners. The successful candidate is someone who exemplifies the company’s core values of Integrity, Professionalism, Communication and Results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Team/Lab Coordination

  • Provide technical lab support
  • Manage Lab Schedule
  • Communicate lab confirmations, changes and follow-up with Customers
  • Coordinate equipment and supply procurement, delivery and return
  • Fully facilitate Lab Event set up & breakdown
  • Assist in rep training event planning and support
  • Work directly with Team members to support all education initiatives
  • Update HCP and CRM databases as needed
  • Provide a high level of hospitality for all guests

 

Lab Facility Maintenance

  • General Equipment Maintenance
  • Inventory Management – Order and Maintain:
    – Anatomic specimens
    – Cleaning Supplies
    – PPE
    – Lab samples
    – Training Demos
    – Printed Literature
    – Refreshments and snacks
  • Cleaning

Additional Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Attend planning meetings
  • Participate in Med Ed Training program to learn all procedures
  • Assist in overall operation of the facility by collaborating with other departments as needed

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and much be detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure with a positive attitude
  • Basic computer skills including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office 365 platform and software including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Must have flexibility to work overtime on an as needed basis with the ability to work occasional evenings or weekend days
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear

 

Education and Experience:

  • College Associate degree (preferred) or combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Experience within the orthopedic or medical industry is preferred
