Description

The Capital & Video Sales Specialist will focus on servicing and maintaining instruments, equipment & disposables of Arthrex’s video and capital (pump, shaver, RF, power, mats) products. This position will work internally with sales force to align schedules and customer support activities and will also interact with customers. The Specialist will communicate and strategize with the Capital & Video Sales Manager to execute on current and future customer needs, including but not limited to software upgrades, equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, building surgical preference settings, preparing equipment and disposables for trials, executing trials, the delivery and installation of customer purchased equipment, and training customers on appropriate cleaning process.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Support all current and future Synergy Video & Integration, Pump, Shaver and RF accounts.
  • Review all current and expired service/usage agreements, while helping to keep customers current and making recommendations based on past service logs and needs.
  • Setup and support equipment evaluations and installations in the field.
  • Assist in training new Associate Sales Representatives in the field and classroom on I&R categories and products.
  • Participate in activities necessary to help train customer staff and sales personnel on the technical use of the product. These activities may include attending surgeries, conducting in-service training with customer staff and SPD, attending cadaver labs, etc.
  • Uncover opportunities and sell Arthrex floor mat line of products to hospital/ASC departments.
  • Attend labs and trainings applicable to capital-video.
  • Respond to the needs of the sales organization via email, phone, and field visits.
  • Collaborate with Manager(s) concerning feedback from the field.
  • Responsible for attending sales meetings and completing all educational courses required by the Medical Education Coordinator and Agency Owner.
  • Work cross functionally with Arthrex corporate, sales operations, regulatory, sales and finance to accomplish objectives.
  • Achieve sales goals and key business metrics by executing strategies directed by the Capital Sales Manager and Fortis leadership.

 

 

Skills:  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are imperative for the success of this position.  Other skills necessary for maximum effectiveness are, but not limited to time management, product knowledge, attention to detail, teaching and training, positive attitude, team-based mentality, problem solving, responsiveness, and focus on high-level of customer service.

 

The Capital & Video Sales Specialist must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and attend surgical cases in the operating room daily.

 

The Capital & Video Sales Specialist will conduct business ethically and adhere to all applicable Fortis, Arthrex, and hospital guidelines including specific credentialing requirements and ADVAMED http://advamed.org/

 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years demonstrated sales success in medical device sales industry
  • Prior sales experience in video and capital preferred
  • High level of initiative
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid US driver’s license with clear motor vehicle record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
