Evolution Surgical, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager to develop and lead our team in San Jose, CA. We are a dynamic and independent Agency authorized to sell Arthrex products. We are a dynamic ordanization selling innovative Arthrex orthopedic and sports medicine products.

The TM is responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships through excellent communication and customer interaction. The TM must build and nurture relationships with the ESI organization to create synergistic relationships that support the overall goals of the territory. The TM is ultimately responsible for the territory achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas. The TM must maintain expert knowledge of our market leading product portfolio and use this information to drive sales, motivate our sales force and serve our clients. The TM also consults with surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instruments. To be a TM, an established record as an orthopedic sales manager/leader in the field is required. This role demands passion and requires the utmost professionalism in setting an example for the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with VP of Sales to oversee and direct the team in achieving and exceeding territory sales objectives.
  • Represent Evolution Surgical, Inc. while working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies with each team member, enabling the team to meet and exceed territory objectives and goals.
  • Work with the team in the territory to increase sales volume by identifying new sales opportunities and develop necessary business plans to attain goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain an excellent rapport with clients to support relationships.
  • Guide the team in communicating with all accounts regarding product updates, changes to product portfolio, new techniques and educational programs.
  • Maintain an accurate proprietary customer relationship management (CRM) database which includes: forecasting, lead generation and account maintenance.
  • Commitment to personal development of management skills.
  • Ensure territory maintains inventory of consigned products.
  • Complete annual reviews and guide performance improvement plans.
  • Maintain credentialing requirements for ongoing access to all accounts.
  • Participate in and attend management meetings/trainings, sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Management experience with documented successful sales performance
  • 2+ years demonstrated sales success in competitive B2B industry
  • Ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market
  • Comfort in surgery/operating room environments
  • Passion to mentor others to achieve their best

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Current Driver’s license with clear motor vehicle record
  • Access to your own transportation
  • Clear drug screen
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, ERP system experience
