This arthroscopic knife has a retractable blade with a built-in-safety mechanism and can be placed over top of a guide wire, reducing unnecessary soft tissue damage during the procedure. Dr. Wierks illustrates how this blade ensures a safe and reproducible capsulotomy with minimal damage to the surrounding anatomic structure.
