Procedure

The Arthrex Proximal Humeral Plating System is designed to treat a variety of fractures of the proximal humerus. The system offers lateral proximal humeral plates in 3- to 17-hole configurations, corresponding to lengths from 91 to 309 mm. All plates accept 3.5 mm reinforced variable-angle locking (VAL), 3.5 mm reinforced VAL KreuLock™ or cortical screws, and 4 mm cancellous screws. Additionally, 3.5 mm FiberTape® cerclage buttons can be used in the shaft of the plates.
