Um die Behandlung von unterschiedlichen Frakturtypen zu ermöglichen, bietet das Patella SuturePlate II-System 3 Typen von Platten in verschiedenen Größen an. Alle Platten sind aus Titan hergestellt und weisen eine Low Profile-Dicke von 1.6 mm auf, wobei die Schrauben mit der Platte bündig abschließen. Fadenöffnungen in der Platte können optional zur Refixierung des Weichteilgewebes oder zur Bandverstärkung verwendet werden.

Patella-SuturePlate™-Plattensystem

Das Patellafraktursystem enthält alle notwendigen Instrumente für die Rekonstruktion von Patellaquerfrakturen. Die kanülierten 4 mm Zugschrauben mit abgerundeter Spitze wurden speziell für Patellafrakturen konstruiert. Darüber hinaus können die mit einer 12.7 cm Nadel verbundenen FiberTape-Fäden durch die Schrauben gezogen und als Zuggurtung verwendet werden. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass dieses Konstrukt eine höhere Reißfestigkeit aufweist als der herkömmliche K-Draht bei Cerclagen.1
Das Set enthält alle Instrumente, die für eine herkömmliche Rekonstruktion benötigt werden. Zusammen mit innovativen Instrumenten enthält das praktische Komplettset Drahtschnellspannfutter für das Sternum, Repositionszangen, Bohrhülsen und kräftige Drahtschneider. Das Set zeichnet sich durch einen verstellbaren, parallelen Offset Guide, eine C-Bogen-Bohrhülse mit einem integrierten Messinstrument und ein Durchzugsinstrument für Cerclagedrähte aus, mit dem sich Drähte durch die Quadrizeps- und Patellarsehne ziehen lassen.
