Das iBalance PFJ-System ist eine endoprothetische Komplettlösung für Patienten mit isolierter patellofemoraler Arthrose, posttraumatischer Arthrose oder anderen degenerativen Veränderungen. Das anatomisch geformte Low Profile-Trochleaimplantat des Systems, das in 4 verschiedenen Größen erhältlich ist, artikuliert mit einer runden Dom-Patella mit 3 Verankerungszapfen. Bei der iBalance PFJ-Instrumentenplattform wurde besonders Wert auf Einfachheit und Effizienz gelegt. Die Verwendung eines einzigen Instrumentensiebs senkt die Durchlaufzeiten sowie die Kosten für die Sterilisation und trägt dazu bei, die Positionier- und Reproduzierbarkeit der patellofemoralen Endoprothese sicherzustellen. Eine anteriore femorale Resektionslehre und Setzvorrichtung ermöglicht die präzise Präparation der Trochlea, sodass die Form mit der Unterseite des Implantats übereinstimmt.
