Arthrex Sous Chef Francis Roy Achieves Certified Chef de Cuisine Certification from the American Culinary Federation
Arthrex is pleased to announce that Sous Chef Francis Roy has achieved Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC) by the American Culinary Federation. The CCC certification is awarded to chefs meeting specific educational, written and practical test requirements, and who demonstrate a reached benchmark of skills and culinary experience with high standards for food preparation. The certification also shows an individual's working knowledge of culinary nutrition, food safety and sanitation, and supervisory management.
As sous chef, Francis reports directly to Executive Chef William Blum and is responsible for planning and directing food preparation for the Culinary Team at Arthrex. Additionally, he assists Chef William in the management of the kitchen and culinary staff.
