SutureCast™ Suture Passer

The SutureCast suture passer provides a simplified, single-portal capsular closure technique during hip arthroscopy procedures, with nitinol jaws uniquely designed to release and capture a minimum of 40 mm of suture. The passer features a 2.1 mm outer-diameter tip designed to pierce thick capsular tissue and is available in 45° and 70° curved angles.

The nitinol jaws open horizontally to reduce the risk of hitting the undersurface of the hip capsule, while the passer also features an ergonomic handle that offers tactile feedback when passing suture through the capsule. It is compatible with #2 FiberWire® suture, 1.3 mm SutureTape, and LoopLoc™ knotless implants.
