The PASTA bridge technique allows for the transtendon repair of partial, articular-sided supraspinatus tendon avulsions. This technique simplifies PASTA repair, while providing a secure bridging technique that enhances footprint compression to maximize contact between tendon and bone.

The technique can be performed in a knotted or knotless fashion through percutaneous transtendon anchor insertion with no arthroscopic suture passing or knot tying, creating a simple, reproducible technique.
