FiberTak® SpeedBridge™ Rotator Cuff Repair
As the next evolution of knotless rotator cuff repair, the FiberTak SpeedBridge™ technique is completed with 2.6 FiberTak RC soft anchors on the medial row and FiberTape® sutures fixated laterally with trusted SwiveLock® anchors.
SpeedBridge™ Double-Row Technique
The SpeedBridge double-row technique is used to repair a rotator cuff tear using a fully threaded SwiveLock® anchor combined with FiberTape® suture to create a quick and secure construct with no knots and only two suture-passing steps. The SpeedBridge double-row technique uses FiberTape suture with three times the contact area compared to a standard #2 FiberWire® suture.1 It provides a broad footprint that can be helpful for repairs to degenerative cuff tissue for which tissue pull-through may be a concern.
SpeedFix™ Single Row Technique
Quick and secure single-row fixation can be obtained with the SpeedFix technique using knotless SwiveLock® anchor and FiberTape® suture. The FastPass SCORPION-multifire suture passer is used to pass an inverted mattress stitch in one step. The mattress stitch can then be inserted into the SwiveLock® anchor eyelet and implanted into the prepared bone socket, completing the knotless repair. The use of FiberTape suture gives 3 times the contact area compared to a standard #2 FiberWire® suture.
FiberTak® DR Soft Anchor Technique
The FiberTak DR (or “Double Row”) suture anchor is specifically designed for surgeons who prefer an “all-suture” anchor for the medial row of a double-row, bridging, rotator cuff repair. They are combined with knotless SwiveLock® C anchors for the lateral row. The unique FiberTak DR anchor has a LabralTape™ suture that is fixed to the sheath so that it cannot slide, making it easy to tension the lateral row for a totally knotless construct. It also includes a sliding #2 FiberWire® TigerTail® suture that can either be incorporated into the repair, or discarded, for ultimate flexibility.
