Ulnar Collateral Ligament Reconstruction

Laura Timmerman, MD, (Walnut Creek, CA) demonstrates an elbow ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction in a baseball player who has a deficient ulnar collateral ligament (UCL). A single socket is created in the sublime tubercle to accept a doubled over graft fixed with a 4.75 mm forked tip PEEK SwiveLock®. The two remaining tails of the graft are tensioned in a single bone tunnel in the humeral epicondyle and fixed with a 3.5 mm PEEK PushLock® eliminating the need for intersecting bone tunnels.
