Subscapularis SpeedFix™ Technique

In this animation, we will show the repair of a rotator cuff tear in the shoulder using the SpeedFix technique. The subscapularis is one of four rotator cuff muscles that help move the shoulder. When the subscapularis is injured, you may experience pain and loss of function. First, your surgeon starts by preparing the bone for the repair. Using a series of instruments. A special SutureTape is passed through the torn subscapularis tendon. A socket is made in the upper part of the bone. Then the SutureTape is loaded into an implant and placed into the bone socket. The remaining suture is removed. This completes the repair of the subscapularis tear. Using a SpeedFix technique.
