AutoCart™ Technique for an Acetabular Chondral Injury

Giordano, MD (Rochester, NY), describes a case in which he treated a 32-year-old laborer with a full-thickness chondral defect in the acetabulum using the AutoCart™ technique, a single-stage cartilage repair technique that combines platelet-rich plasma with collected articular cartilage and BioCartilage® extracellular matrix that can be performed concomitantly with other procedures.
