Using standard wrist arthroscopy portals and setup, type 1B tears of the TFCC are repaired back to their anatomic insertion on the bone. Using a specialized Micro SutureLasso™ suture passer, a 2-0 FiberWire® suture is passed through the TFCC and a mattress stitch is created. The TFCC kit is then used to place a knotless 2.5 mm PushLock anchor into the base of the ulna. The sutures are tightened, bringing both the superficial and deep fibers of the TFCC back to their insertion site on the bone. The knotless anchor is inserted and final fixation of the TFCC back to the bone is achieved.

Arthroscopic Knotless TFCC Repair Using the PushLock® Anchor

Optimize tensioning and fixation without knot tying. The 2.5 mm PushLock suture anchor provides a secure means of knotless fixation in the hand and wrist. Accommodating up to 1.3 mm SutureTape suture, this 2-piece anchor enables a no-profile repair that is quick and straightforward.
 
The 2.5 mm PushLock suture anchor uses a PEEK eyelet to place the sutures at the bottom of a drill hole, allowing precise tension and the ability to lock the sutures in place by impacting the tack portion of the anchor. Both the high-strength radiolucent PEEK and the bioabsorbable BioComposite (PLDLA amorphous copolymer and beta- tricalcium phosphate [ß-TCP]) PushLock optimize tissue tension and fixation without knot tying.

Using standard arthroscopic portals, the Micro SutureLasso™ are directed through the TFCC tissue adjacent to the tear. The Micro SutureLasso can be inserted using either the outside-in or inside-out techniques. A specialized 2-0 FiberStick allows direct passage of 2-0 FiberWire suture through the Micro SutureLasso and TFCC tissue. Using either technique a mattress stitch is created over the tear. The sutures are then tied to the capsule to complete the repair.

Using #2-0 or #0 suture the torn ulnar collateral ligament of the thumb is sutured. The 2.5 mm PushLock® uses a PEEK eyelet to place the sutures at the bottom of a drill hole, allowing the surgeon to tension precisely by hand and lock the sutures in place by impacting the tak portion of the anchor. Both the high strength radiolucent PEEK and the absorbable PLLA 2.5 mm PushLock optimize tissue tension and fixation without knot tying. The final repair is tensioned to the surgeon's preference and remains completely knotless allowing for less irritation with minimal overlying soft tissue. 2.5 mm PushLock® Thumb Collateral Ligament Repair

Optimize tensioning and fixation without knot tying. The 2.9 mm PushLock suture anchor provides a secure means of knotless fixation in the hand and wrist, as well as the foot and ankle. Accommodating sutures ranging in size from 2-0 FiberWire® to 2.0 mm LabralTape™ sutures, this 2-piece anchor enables a no-profile repair that is quick and straightforward. The 2.9 mm BioComposite Knotless PushLock suture anchor uses a PEEK eyelet to place the sutures at the bottom of a drill hole, allowing precise tension and the ability to lock the sutures in place by impacting the body portion of the anchor.

The Triangular Fibrocartilage (TFCC) Ulnar Tunnel Repair technique provides a reliable and reproducible option to treat peripheral ulnar tears. By repairing both the superficial and deep layers (ligamentum subcruentum) of the TFCC down to bone, this technique recreates an anatomic TFCC insertion. FiberStick™ or FiberWire® sutures provide a strong and permanent repair of the articular disk.1 The 2.5 mm Mini PushLock® or 2.5 mm Nano SwiveLock® anchor imparts the final knotless, no-profile fixation.
