The Modular Soft Tissue Retractor is a versatile adjunct to soft tissue approaches throughout the body. It has a self-locking and self-retaining design with modular paddles that allow it to be adapted to multiple soft tissue uses.
Muscle-splitting approaches about the shoulder, including Mini-Open rotator cuff repair, are ideal for this retractor. The retractor allows firm, yet safe, exposure and its self-locking design allows the shoulder to be moved throughout a range of motion without the retractor becoming dislodged.
The use of the Modular Soft Tissue Retractor allows for more minimally invasive approaches to accomplish surgical, technical goals that previously have been relegated to more open procedures. The use of this retractor with Mini-Open surgical techniques and arthroscopic surgery can afford improved technical and surgical outcomes.
