With the uniquely designed jaws of the KingFisher grasper, surgeons are able to perform multiple tasks during arthroscopic surgery with one instrument. The KingFisher grasper/retriever is the optimal tool for arthroscopic tissue grasping/reduction, foreign body removal, and suture retrieval/management. The distal serrated tip of the jaws functions as a tissue and suture grasper, while the proximal section of the jaws facilitates slide-through suture retrieving.
The FiberTape® KingFisher instrument combines the suture-grasping ability of a KingFisher retriever and jaw curvature similar to the FiberTape retriever. Combining these features makes it easier to manipulate suture and tissue during arthroscopic procedures.
The Mini KingFisher retriever combines the dexterity of a standard retriever, superior handling of tape retrievers, and grasping ability of the KingFisher instrument, all in a compact size that fits into tight spaces and through our smallest percutaneous cannulas.

Knee Hand Instruments

As the next evolution of knotless rotator cuff repair, the FiberTak SpeedBridge technique is completed with 2.6 FiberTak RC soft anchors on the medial row and FiberTape® sutures fixated laterally with trusted SwiveLock® anchors.
This knotless repair creates a quick, secure construct in as few as three suture-passing steps. The small size of the 2.6 FiberTak RC anchors allows for three points of medial-row fixation where previously only two fixation points could be achieved.
Knotless 2.6 FiberTak RC anchors are adaptable and can conform to traditional repair techniques while providing the additional benefits of tensionable knotless technology for incorporating biologics or increasing medial-row compression.

Broad compression and increased resistance to tissue pull-through make FiberTape suture the leading choice for knotless repairs. This ultra-high–strength suture has a long-chain polyethylene structure similar to FiberWire® suture. Its broad footprint is ideal for repairs to degenerative cuff tissue for which tissue pull-through may be a concern. FiberTape suture is 27% more resistant to tissue pull-through compared to round #2 suture.1

The Rotator Cuff and Instability Express Instrument System cases feature single-level, low-profile, and

Shoulder Express Instrument Systems

The SpeedBridge double-row technique is used to repair a rotator cuff tear using a fully threaded SwiveLock® anchor combined with FiberTape® suture to create a quick and secure construct with no knots and only two suture-passing steps. The SpeedBridge double-row technique uses FiberTape suture with three times the contact area compared to a standard #2 FiberWire® suture.1 It provides a broad footprint that can be helpful for repairs to degenerative cuff tissue for which tissue pull-through may be a concern.

SpeedBridge™ Double-Row Technique

The SCR technique was pioneered by Dr. Teruhisa Mihata in 2007 for patients with irreparable rotator cuff tears. In the SCR study, a 24- to 51-month follow-up on 23 patients shows outstanding outcomes in pain, ASES scores, and acromiohumeral distance measurements.1 The SCR technique reinforces the superior capsule, keeping the humeral head centered in the glenoid by attaching tissue from the glenoid to the greater tuberosity.

Superior Capsular Reconstruction (SCR) Technique

The fully threaded, knotless SwiveLock C anchor is designed for use with FiberWire® or FiberTape® sutures during rotator cuff repair with the SpeedFix™, SutureBridge™, or SpeedBridge™ technique. The Labral SwiveLock anchor is available for instability repair and provides very high pullout and insertion strength while saving time.1 SwiveLock anchors are cannulated and vented to minimize material and allow for potential bony ingrowth.2 The anchors are available in multiple sizes, and in bioabsorbable biocomposite or PLLA and nonabsorbable PEEK materials.
