Procedure

The IntraOsseous BioPlasty® (IOBP®) technique provides a biological solution for treating bone marrow lesions. AlloSync™ Pure deminineralized bone matrix (DBM), combined with concentrated platelet-rich plasma from bone marrow aspirate (cPRP from BMA) from the Angel® system, allows for a biologic graft that supports physiologic bone remodeling and repair and is easy to deliver in the clinic setting.

The IntraOsseous BioPlasty (IOBP®) technique is used to treat subchondral bone pathologies that are a result of acute or chronic injury, such as bone marrow lesions in the talus associated with persistent bone bruising or an insufficiency fracture.&nbsp;
The IOBP&nbsp;procedure encourages physiologic bone remodeling and repair through a core decompression of the lesion and a direct application of concentrated platelet-rich plasma (cPRP) from bone marrow aspirate (BMA) mixed with AlloSync™ Pure demineralized bone matrix for a biologic graft that supports healing of the subchondral bone.
