PCL Tear

Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) injury occurs during sports-related activities or high velocity, traumatic accidents. Indications for operative treatment of PCL tear include acute injuries, active young patient, either isolated grade 3 tears or combined injury such as grade 2 injury with Posterolateral Corner instability. Arthrex has developed several techniques for isolated PCL injury (PCL Inlay Reconstruction, Double Bundle PCL Reconstruction, Transtibial PCL RetroConstruction) that can also be combined with Multi-Ligament/Posterolateral Corner Reconstruction.
