FiberLink™ and TigerLink™ Suture
FiberLink™ and TigerLink™ Suture are 0 FiberWire® with a closed loop on one end. They were designed to facilitate the application of a cinch stitch by simply passing the suture through tissue and feeding the free end through the loop and tensioning. The link can be used in multiple ways to create many different suture configurations. It can be used to shuttle the suture so that both free ends exit the inferior meniscus. A knot can then be tied and located under the meniscus.
FiberLoop® is a continuous loop of FiberWire® with multiple needle options. The needles are easy to handle and move freely on the suture to recenter themselves after passing through tissue and facilitating even tension. Graft preparation using the Arthrex SpeedWhip™ technique drastically reduces time spent preparing the graft, uniformly compresses the graft, improves strength and allows for last minute adjustments in graft length.
FiberLoop® with FiberTag™ Suture
SpeedWhip™ rip-stop technique eliminates the weak link in graft preparation by reinforcing the suture/tissue interface with a FiberTag scaffold. A FiberTag suture is incorporated into the end of the FiberLoop construct to allow each needle pass to incorporate both graft and the FiberTag scaffold. This construct has been shown to increase the strength over standard stitching alone.1
FiberSnare® is a #2 FiberWire® with a small loop on one end while the opposite end is stiffened 12 inches. This provides an easy one step approach to creating a FiberWire® loop on the tip of the Bio-Tenodesis Driver. Instead of using a nitinol wire, insert the stiff non-looped end retrograde through the tip of the Bio-Tenodesis Screwdriver. Place the tip of the tendon or tendon graft into the FiberWire® loop and cinch the other end around the suture cleat on the back end of the blue Tear Drop Handle.
FiberStick™ and TigerStick®
FiberStick™ is blue FiberWire® with the first 12 inches stiffened to allow convenient andeasy advancement through most cannulated instruments, alleviating the need fora monofilament suture or wire suture shuttle. FiberSticks come with a thinplastic tube which protects the stiffened suture until use. TigerStick® is similar to FiberStick but whitewith a black stripe in the suture, making suture identification easier.
FiberWire® and TigerWire®
FiberWire® and TigerWire® are both high strength sutures available on implants and also packaged separately with and without needles. FiberWire is blue and TigerWire is white with a black stripe in the suture, making suture identification easier.
FiberWire® on Straight Needles
#2 FiberWire® on Straight Needles comes in two needle options: a single needle attached to 38” of #2 FiberWire; or two needles, each attached to an end of 38” of #2 FiberWire. These are ideal to create a variety locking stitch patterns for avulsions of large tendons such as quadriceps, patellar, pectoral, or Achilles.
The FingerShield is a woven polyester sleeve with an embeddedradiopaque blue marker designed to reduce pressure induced lacerations to thedigits of the hand caused by repetitive knot tying during surgery. They slipright over sterile gloves when needed. The tips are left open to allow pinchgrasp of suture strands, while still protecting the IP joint area of eachdigit. The soft, finger-conforming weave will stand up to repetitive hand tyingduring a case without constraining the fingers. Suture slides over theFingerShield smoothly and effortlessly.
