The Scorpion™ suture passers are used in Shoulder Arthroscopy for Rotator Cuff and Labral Repair.

The FastPass Scorpion® SL (side-loading) suture passer was designed to be simple and easy to use, supporting more successful suture passes. The front side of the bottom jaw is solid to prevent suture and soft tissue from entering the bottom jaw when positioning onto the tendon. The FastPass Scorpion SL suture-retrieving top jaw helps seamlessly pass and retrieve #2 FiberWire®.

The Labral Scorpion™ is a great instrument to pass and retrieve #2 FiberWire through the labrum. The streamlined, low profile jaw is designed to fit through a 6 mm cannula and can be used through a single portal to self‐retrieve the suture after passing. The lower jaw of the Labral Scorpion is contoured to fit between the glenoid bone and labrum, while the previous versions are designed to slide between the cuff and humeral bone.
