Arthrex is a world leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics and is committed to one mission: Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better®. Arthrex is dedicated to changing people’s lives for the better. Throughout its existence, Arthrex has been supplying surgeons and hospitals with state-of-the-art equipment needed to perform routine operations with superior end results compared to competitors. Because of this, Arthrex has experienced strong and steady growth. Arthrex has subsidiaries around the world, and the majority of manufacturing is in Collier County, Florida.

Arthrex supports small businesses nationwide and has elected to participate in the US Government Small Business Administration (SBA) program. Approximately 85% of Arthrex’s products are proudly made in America and our procurement team continues to contribute significantly to small businesses and the US economy. Arthrex evaluated its current subcontracting practices and opportunities and determined that existing practices employ small businesses regularly in conducting its business.

With continued expansion into new markets and growth at an accelerated pace, Arthrex will continue to support suppliers registered with the SBA.

Government agencies may purchase products directly from Arthrex, which supports small businesses directly and indirectly affiliated with Arthrex and contributes to the growth of the US economy.

Evolution

Arthrex continues to secure updated contact information and purchasing data to fulfill and/or exceed SBA thresholds. Arthrex supply chain personnel frequently attend national supply chain tradeshows and expos seeking suppliers who qualify with the SBA.

Arthrex established this program to monitor and move toward our goals. Arthrex maintains records to demonstrate the procedures adopted comply with the requirements and goals of the program. We may use resources from third parties and government agencies to establish program parameters to further expand the program benefits.
