The Trim-It Spin Pin™ offers the surgeon the advantage of exact sizing of PIPJ implants every time, without leaving pin material across the DIPJ eliminating the need to countersink. The Trim-It Spin Pin’s laser marked metal trocar tip acts as a drill and measuring device, providing for an exact fit of the bioabsorbable implant. PLLA material provides superior shear strength over competitive absorbable pins (data on file) and enables the surgeon to anatomically position the toe after implantation leaving the patient with an aesthetically pleasing flexed toe fusion.
