The ArthroFX system was designed to give surgeons a simple, efficient, and versatile solution for temporary or definitive fixation. The system consists of:
FibuLock® Fibular Nail Technique
The FibuLock nail is a cutting-edge, minimally invasive treatment for ankle fractures. It is inserted into the bone through a minimal incision and acts like an internal splint to stabilize the fracture during healing. The proximal “talons” allow for stable fixation to restore length, alignment, and rotation. The Fibulock nail is the only system on the market with this capability.
Internal Fixation for Distal Tibia Fracture/Pilon
The distal tibia plates are made of stainless steel and are an extension of the ankle fracture management system. Plates have been designed with concern for the thin soft tissues on the tibia and are low profile with 2.7 mm locking or non-locking screws in the distal portion of each plate. Medial, anterolateral, anterior, posterior and small rim plates complete the plating offering for the tibia. In addition, posterolateral plating has also been designed to be low profile with a 2.7 mm locking screw to minimize peroneal tendon irritation.
