Procedure

Una vez que se ha establecido la incisión y que el tejido blando se ha elevado en forma segura, la guía de corte para osteotomía de Arthrex y dos pins guía para osteotomía de 2,4 mm se alinean adecuadamente bajo control radioscópico. Luego se usan retractores específicamente diseñados para eliminar restos de tejido blando y la osteotomía se practica en forma precisa preservando aproximadamente 1 cm de la cortical medial. La cantidad de corrección angular deseada se logra utilizando el osteótomo elevador o la cuña para osteotomía y el sitio de la osteotomía es cubierto por material de relleno para cavidades óseas de aloinjerto o autoinjerto.
