Der Arthrex Trochanternagel ist ein Hüftnagel der nächsten Generation, mit dem die verbleibenden Unzulänglichkeiten aktueller Systeme gelöst werden. Das System besteht aus 3 Nageltypen – kurzer Nagel, langer Nagel und der innovative ES-Nagel.
Teleskop-Zugschraube —Selbstständiges Zusammenfallen innerhalb der Zugschraube verhindert eine laterale Irritation der Zugschraube.
ES-Nageloption –Kombiniert die mechanischen Vorteile eines langen Nagels mit der einfachen Verwendung eines kurzen Nagels. Er geht durch den Isthmus des Knochens, was erhöhte Spannungen an der distalen Spitze, potenzielle „Pendel“-Effekte sowie das mit kurzen Nägeln verbundene Risiko periprothetischer Frakturen reduzieren kann.1Das ES-Loch kann einfach durch den Nagel-Jig anvisiert werden.
Biologische Augmentation—Ermöglicht die Injektion von Orthobiologika (BoneSync-Zement, autologen Blutprodukten, AlloSync Pure usw.) durch das Zugschraubeninstrumentarium vor dem endgültigen Setzen der Schraube.
Fortschrittliches Instrumentarium –Konzipiert, um Probleme bei chirurgischen Eingriffen zu reduzieren und einen chirurgischen Arbeitsablauf zu ermöglichen.

Procedure

The Arthrex trochanteric nail is a next-generation hip nail that addresses the remaining shortcomings of current systems and consists of three nail types—short nail, long nail, and the innovative ES nail.
Telescoping Lag Screw—Self-contained collapse within the lag screw prevents lateral lag screw irritation.
ES Nail Option—Combines the mechanical advantages of a long nail with the ease of a short nail. It extends through the isthmus of the bone, which can reduce distal-tip stress risers, potential “pendulum” effects, and risks of periprosthetic fractures associated with short nails.1 The ES hole is easily targeted through the nail jig.
Biological Augmentation—Allows for the delivery of orthobiologics (BoneSync™ cement, autologous blood products, AlloSync Pure™, etc) through the lag screw instrumentation, prior to final screw seating.
Advanced Instrumentation—Designed to reduce surgical pain points and facilitate surgical workflow.
