Arthrex Proximal Humeral Plating System

The Arthrex Proximal Humeral Plating System is designed to treat a variety of fractures of the proximal humerus. The system offers lateral proximal humerus plates in 3- to 17-hole configurations, corresponding to lengths from 91 to 309 mm and anatomic proximal humerus plates in 3- to 15-hole configurations, corresponding to lengths from 92 to 265 mm. All plates accept 3.5 mm reinforced variable-angle locking (VAL), 3.5 mm reinforced VAL KreuLock™ or cortical screws, and 4 mm cancellous screws. The anatomic plates accept 4.5 mm cortical and locking screws distally in 7-hole and longer configurations. Additionally, 3.5 mm FiberTape® cerclage buttons can be used in the shafts of both plates with 4.5 mm cerclage buttons available for distal fixation in 7- to 15-hole anatomic plates.
