Pinnacle Inc. is a Metro-Detroit based sales agency that is privileged to be the exclusive distributor of Arthrex medical products throughout Southeast Michigan.  We are committed to “helping surgeons treat their patients better” by focusing on surgeon education in the field and at our state-of-the-art surgical training laboratory. As our bag of “tools” continues to expand and we continue to grow our market share in various aspects of the orthopedic industry, we need someone to help support our ongoing initiatives of logistically assisting our sales representatives in the field, allowing them more time to educate top surgeons and ultimately creating better lives for patients.

 

As an Inventory Specialist for Pinnacle Inc., you'll help support all inventory initiatives related to customer sales, including both in-warehouse logistics and delivery of products throughout our districts. Your goal is to ensure all necessary inventory is stocked and ready for case coverage daily along with maintaining an efficient inventory pick-up and delivery method, ensuring all products get to their destination correctly and on-time. Your success will help expand our sales representatives’ ability to educate and build better relationships with our customers, while simultaneously helping thousands of patients lead better lives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Inventory Specialist for Pinnacle Inc., you will play an essential role in supporting the Operations Department initiatives to help sales representatives be successful in the field. In this role, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Supporting sales representatives in day-to-day inventory logistics including helping manage the sales case schedule and preparing surgical trays, totes, and implant kits, unpacking and examining incoming inventory, and restocking when needed.
  • Anticipating needs and establishing priorities and courses of action to meet daily objectives.
  • Transporting large amounts of medical equipment between healthcare facilities within our assigned geographic area (roughly 50% of your time will be spent on the road).
  • Overseeing the product restock at each warehouse in the field and ensuring trays and totes are full and ready to go at all times.
  • Updating all applicable databases to ensure accurate information.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, here are the skills we are looking for:

 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); College degree and/or experience in the field a plus.
  • Your typical working schedule will be sometime between the hours of 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Monday – Friday; You must be able to work nights and weekends when needed.
  • You have a clean driving record and the ability to drive a company van (Sprinter size).
  • You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • You must be comfortable with reprioritizing as needed due to the ever-changing nature of surgical case schedules.
  • You are an excellent communicator, both with internal and external parties.
  • You are highly organized and have a strong attention to detail.
  • You have basic computer knowledge and mobile phone application knowledge with the tenacity to learn Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as company-specific mobile apps.
