Description

The Cardiothoracic Sales Specialist is responsible for executing sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales quota and key business metrics in support of Arthrex cardiothoracic line of products. This role will provide high-level technical support to customers and other Sales Representatives in related procedures.

 

The position reports directly to the Agency Owner but may take direction from District or Regional Manager as well.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales teams to develop a strong sales strategy that aligns with customer needs
  • Guide the sales teams on tactics to execute the strategies developed
  • Communicate to the sales team regarding new products, product updates, promotional activities, etc.
  • Engage directly with current and prospective customers and Sales Representatives to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Measure, monitor, and trend Sales Representative performance to assess strategies and ensure success of business results including quota achievement, account education engagement, and inventory management
  • Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
  • Partner with Medical Education Manager to develop proper messaging for applicable products and incorporates other tools to be used by the sales organization
  • Assist the sales teams in the field by recommending products and methodologies to surgeons
  • Participate in activities, including labs, industry meetings, and trade shows, when necessary to help showcase cardiothoracic products
  • Identify customer needs and propose creative solutions that align with business objectives and guidelines, including pricing/billing in line with company policies
  • Responds to the needs of the sales organization via email, phone and field
  • Collaborates with Managers concerning product positioning strategies and feedback from the
  • Works cross functionally with Arthrex corporate, sales operations, regulatory, sales and finance to accomplish

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in sales of Cardiothoracic products, preferred
  • Successful completion of Cardiothoracic Initial Onsite Training (IOT) prior to or within 8 months of start date
  • Successful completion of ECI Sales Training prior to or within 12 months of start date
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to succeed in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Willing and able to travel frequently
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time to attend surgical cases in an operating room, on a daily basis
