The Arthrex Imaging and Resection Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the I & R Department and maintaining expert knowledge of our market-leading product portfolio. He/she will be responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas. The Sales Manager must increase sales results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent Artemis Surgical,the exclusive agency authorized to sell Arthrex products in the Chicagoland area, Northwest Indiana, and West & North Michigan.  Arthrex is a world-class leader in the orthopedic industry.
  • Set sales strategy for I & R business by identifying customer needs and solutions.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales representatives regarding I & R products and sales cycle.
  • Frequent communication with representatives, leadership, and Arthrex I & R Regional Manager, to ensure execution of a successful strategy. Identify weaknesses and offer evidence-based solutions, when needed.
  • Maximize training to ensure growth and competency of product line for all agency personnel.
  • Model Leadership behavior through clear communication, effective coaching, and respectful collaboration to maximize relationships with agency teams and accounts.
  • Launch new I & R products within the agency and re-launch when necessary.
  • Establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and by training and developing a sales team.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations of product line enhancements. Drive both sales effectiveness and product development direction.
  • Ability to organize multiple trials across multiple product lines simultaneously with a high level or organization.
  • Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
  • Address problems that might arise at accounts.
  • Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state, local laws, regulations, accreditation, and licenser requirements.
  • Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
  • Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive
  • Represent Artemis Surgical and Arthrex at various industry meetings, attend labs, and tradeshows.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5 years endoscopy/ imaging and resection sales experience.
  • Orthopedic arthroscopy and endoscopy expereince.
  • Proven sales success.
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments.
