Description

The Trauma Manager for Eclipse, representing Arthrex, Inc., works firsthand with surgeons in the operating room and with their team consulting on the safe and effective use of Arthrex implants and instruments. The Trauma Manager will lead, manage, and hold the sales force within the Eclipse territory accountable for the success of the Arthrex Trauma product portfolio year over year.  In this role you will be responsible for maintaining expert product knowledge of our Trauma Portfolio and ensuring Trauma sales quotas are being managed and achieved on an annual basis.  Essential job functions include managing effectively by assisting in sales, representation, and technical support on products that include primarily, but are not limited to trauma. The Trauma Manager is required to lead and guide the team and also assist with goal, quota, and sales planning for each territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading team in meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory.
  • Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
  • Mentor and train team on new and existing Trauma products, surgical techniques and sales tactics.
  • Lead by example. Demonstrate proper use of time and sales initiatives. Constantly analyze sales performance and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications to remain current and for growth and development.
  • Remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.
  • Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
  • Strong sense of urgency is important, multi-tasking skills and ability to manage responsibilities under strict deadlines.
  • Must be willing to travel within Agency specific accounts with occasional travel outside of that territory for trainings/meetings.
  • Lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Must have orthopedic long bone trauma sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
  • 2-5 years demonstrated sales success in competitive B2B industry.
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • MS Office required.
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills are required.
  • Strong sense of urgency is important.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

  • Current Driver's license.
  • Access to your own transportation

 

The Sales Territory Covers Southern NJ, Northern DE and Southeastern PA
